Don Muang Airport is Bangkok’s second International Airport (formerly first) reopened for Low Cost Carriers and now operates all domestic flights. The two main carriers are AirAsia and Nok Air and flights are mostly to short-haul destinations in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Don Muang Airport is located outside of central Bangkok in the Don Muang area.

Taxi to / from Bangkok City Centre:
Taxis between central Bangkok and Don Muang Airport takes roughly 40 mins and meter cost 200 baht up. Take the tollways to avoid traffic. For leaving the airport there is a 50 baht surcharge.
Don Muang Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport:
The two international airports are at opposite sides of the city. The easiest option is to taxi directly across using toll ways. Takes around one hour and costs a rough 500 baht.
