As this attraction tops many visitor’s to-do list I thought best to include it. I will however give a realistic description of the experience. With the Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise do not expect a romantic, magical or even cultural experience. Do expect queues to the boat, queues to the buffet, basic foods, renditions of La Bamba, awful dancing and all the other holiday tour stereotypes (our full review here).
The amazing scenery is what this tour is about. If you do join chao phraya dinner cruise our advice would be to find a spot with a good view of the river, order a cocktail (around 180 baht each), and make the most of the unique scenery of the Chao Phraya River.
The Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise lasts 2 hours from 9pm and stops beside both Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) and the Rama 8 bridge.
