The Bangkok Siam Square area is a maze of independent clothes shops, beauty shops, eateries and cafes held together by a network of streets and alleys. An easy place to get lost. The area one of Bangkok’s popular teen and student hangouts. It is also home to Bangkok’s last standing independent film theatres the Lido Cinemas and Scala Theatre.
The Bangkok Siam Square area runs adjacent to the convenient Skytrain (BTS) line with the central Siam station on the doorstep. On the opposite side of the Skytrain is Siam Paragon, Bangkok’s largest luxury mall. In the evenings the perimeter siding the Skytrain comes to life with street food carts and cheap clothes and accessories stalls.
